Kevin Francis (Toronto, ON) had a very impressive first game in a Mill Rats uniform. After coming over to Saint John in a trade with Oshawa, Francis finished with 19 points on 9-13 shooting from the field to go along with 6 rebounds. Francis played in just over 32 minutes in a 91-89 loss to the Quebec Kebs. Chris Cayole (Burlington, VT) continued his strong play of late for the Summerside Storm scoring 20 points on 8-19 shooting, in a 97-96 loss to the Halifax Rainmen. Cayole also chipped in with 5 rebounds and 2 assists in 40 minutes of play. Joey Haywood (Vancouver, BC) contributed greatly to two Halifax Rainmen victories this past week. Haywood averaged 14 points on 45% shooting from the field, 2.5 rebounds and 2 assists in the Rainmen’s two victories against Summerside and Quebec. Tut Ruach (Toronto, ON) had a strong game for the Oshawa Power on Saturday, December 10th against the London Lightning. Ruach finished the game with 16 points on 6-9 shooting from the field, 3 assists and also collected 3 rebounds in 26 minutes of play. Despite Ruach leading his team on Saturday to a 99-93 victory of the London Lightning, the Power dropped two of three games against the Lightning this past week. Tristan Martin (Toronto, ON) played in his first two games for the London Lightning this past week after coming over from the Moncton Miracles in a trade. Despite shooting 1-11 from the field on Sunday, December 11th against the Oshawa Power, Martin still managed to score 8 points while helping with 3 rebounds and 2 assists in 21 minutes.
